Street art murals

I love street art in general, and murals in particular. In Washington DC, there are many murals across the city. Many of them are linked with the political capital: the gagged George Washington on U street is a very good example.

This mural is located in the Adams Morgan area, it is a variation of “Aristide Bruant dans son cabaret” poster by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, the Parisian painter (born in the beautiful town of Albi) of the late 19th century. I love this painter, famous for his paintings of French Cancan singers and dancers in Montmartre.

No, it is not François Mitterrand …(another remarkable man that I deeply admire).
