The National Gallery of Art in Washington is a must-see for tourists and art-lovers.
It is one of the largest museums in North America (twice smaller than the Louvre in Paris or the Metropolitan in NYC, same size than the Prado in Madrid or the British Museum in London).
I visited the neoclassical West Building a few days ago, and the building itself is really beautiful with a domed rotunda and garden courts.
The collection of paintings in this building is impressive. Just to name a few of my favorites: Da Vinci (my favorite painter of all times), Manet, Raphael, Vermeer, Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Turner…
